В моем становлении как музыканта и композитора огромную роль сыграли не только мои учителя, которые были рядом, но и композиторы прошлого. С малых лет я был очарован музыкой Баха, Вивальди, Перголези. Став немного старше, я открыл для себя Стравинского, Шостаковича, Шнитке и многих других. Все они стали для меня проводниками в мир большой музыки. Мое Concerto grosso — оммаж, мое признание в любви великим мастерам прошлого. Для творцов последних нескольких веков магистральной линией развития в искусстве было новаторство, попытка создать то, чего не было до тебя. Я же в своем сочинении, напротив, хочу раствориться в музыке ушедших художников и через свою музыку еще раз восхититься их гением.
In my development as a musician and composer, a most important role was played not only by my teachers who were nearby, but also by composers of the past. From an early age I was fascinated by the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Pergolesi. As I got a little older, I discovered Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Schnittke and many others. All of them became my guides to the world of great music. My Concerto grosso is a homage, my declaration of love to the great masters of the past. For the creators of the last few centuries, the main line of development in art has been innovation, an attempt to create something that did not exist before you. In my composition, on the contrary, I want to dissolve into the music of departed artists and, through my music, once again admire their genius.
